Silver Samurai family mon are seen most often on Army swords. Family mon are not common on Naval swords. The blade measures 26 7/8' (68.3 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. This fine sword has a straight hamon/temper line. The saya is the higher-class sharkskin.
