That being said---- For OLTA and S/T I had to listen a few times to get in to it. This album has a really great vibe right off the bat.

It’s even more upbeat and poppy than Antics, mostly rock songs and not a lot of somber slow burners. There’s not one song I’ve listened to so far that I don’t really, really like and can’t wait to revisit. My favorites so far are “Anywhere,” “Same Town, New Story” (holy shit, starts off like a jazz song – really differerent!) “My Blue Supreme” and “Everything is Wrong.” “Everything Is Wrong” kinda sounds like an old Killers song, but it’s so good. Lotsa high-pitched, dynamic vocals. Really solid bass.

I love the way Paul’s voice is mixed on “Twice as Hard.” DAE feel like the beginning of “Twice as Hard” sounds like some continuation of “The Lighthouse?” I think this is going to turn out to be worth the hype. Obviously, it’s not going to satisfy all Interpol fans, if only because there’s a lack of really gloomy, quiet tracks with crazy outros.

But I love it. I can see myself listening to it again and again like TOTBL and Antics. Edit: not sure if the torrent I received from a redditor last night is still up and running, but PM and I'll forward it along.
