Depending whether you run the PAL (Europe) version or NTSC (North America), you can head to, look well for SSBB save complete, download the file, execute Dolphin.exe, head for Tools->Wii Save Import, select the file. It will ask you whether you want to overwrite previous save or not, if you have one. After that -- you can play. And -- if this is not what you meant al all, please reply whether you play the PAL or NTSC version, so I can look into this and help you.
(if I am not asleep already). Read this thoroughly. And about what you said, I suggest being careful, even if you own the game, it is actually not allowed to obtain the game via 'other' sources, but okay. If, in the future you need to legally obtain games, you might want to purchase a GDR LG drive, the specific ones are noted in the forum here; You could alternatively dump them to a SD card, using Wii Disc Dumper. I hope my reply was helpful. Edit: There is another simple way without much hassle.
Look at the screenshot I submitted and copy the save files you 'dumped' to the folder as seen in the screenshot. Look closely to the file structure.
I am saying one important thing, I sincerely ask you to legally dump Brawl PAL version to your PC. The save files won't work as you already said you use NTSC.
Post Scriptum: if you don't understand the screenshot; go to the folder you have Dolphin included, go to user / wii / title / 00010000 / 52534250 / data - and copy the files you talked about when you created this thread. (, 05:55 AM)Narkshark Wrote: ok thanks I have read about it over the internet that as long as you have the game, it is legal to download games off websites. If you dont have the game thats when it is illegal, ive noticed this statement a lot around the internet. Thank you though for your concern!
You're welcome. At least you don't belong to those vile teens that have no knowledge, download Dolphin and start flooding the forums, asking for support and even having courage to ask where to obtain the games on the Net.
The Dolphin devs try hard to develop the emulator, in this way it's like harassing them. By legally obtaining the dumps and playing Dolphin supports them. There may even be a day when the devs just say 'this is it', 'we stop developing Dolphin'. Just because of the piracy that clouds around in this forums. Good that the mods effectively punish them pirates.
Since they don't want wii save files shrinking and expanding to accommodate the amount of actual user data in the save, I'm assuming that they erred on the size of a large save to begin with. Then people can feel free to create their own maps, collect trophies, etc and not worry that they're suddenly going to have to delete a SNES game to continue with their Brawl expansion. As for more storage, hopefully they expand the utility of the SD card. I've got a 2GB card in my wii that has done absolutely nothing for months and months. It's a stupid move to have such a small storage device, just like it's beyond retarded for MS to push 'Xbox Originals' yet refuse to lower the price of their disgustingly overpriced HDD. Fully agreed. Storage is one of the few things that Sony gets a big fat A+ handling perfectly right off the bat.
I upgraded my 60gb PS3 drive to a 120 in just over an hour without loosing a single file. It was ridiculously easy (at least once I realized that my external swap drive needed to be fat32 and not ntfs).bysmitty. Sakurai Simply stated, the Stage Builder enables players to build their own stages. Just like the name says, right? (laughs) By combining several different components, like platforms, the width of the stage, and traps, players are free, to a certain extent, to create their own stages. They can upload these stages to Nintendo’s server, where it is then sent to other players. In other words, once everyday, a new stage made by someone, somewhere can be sent to your Wii.
Iwata And the stages sent in this way then disappear. Sakurai Right. We figured making these stages available for just one day would make it more interesting. CPX I'm not too surprised. Melee's save files were pretty big as GC saves went. The game kept some pretty in-depth statistics on each character. I don't care how in-depth the statistics are.
There is no excuse for 30MB in a save file. Just as an exercise, open up notepad and start typing.
