Pros: - Very portable. - Decently bright when projected screen is less than 3 feet diagonally. Proposal kit professional v150 rapidshare manual. - Contrast Ratio seems pretty good, the blacks look black, the whites look white.

Cons: - Anything over 3 foot diagonally is extremely dim even in a pitch black surrounding. - Text on any size bigger than 3 feet diagonally is entirely illegible using composite - VGA input does NOT accept Y/Pb/Pr signals, so it's physically impossible to use this with a 360, PS3, Wii, etc using Component signal, unless you get a ~$100 converter box. - Since it's so small, the cords (Power and Input) can extremely easily cause it to point another direction unintentionally. - Gets REALLY hot (too hot to touch) after an hour and half of use. - When the battery runs out, and it's in use with the DC Power Cord, the image downs form 10 lumens to maybe as low as 5 lumens until the battery is fully recharged again. This causes extreme frustration when trying to play a game. Other Thoughts: I tested it with my PS3, Wii, and 360.

I am not using it anymore, and went back to my regular SDTV. The only thing I will use it for from now on is using it in the car on a long trip to watch movies or shows via iPhone link cord I purchased. Pros: Bought this because I want to play rhythm games from old systems (DDR & Guitar Hero) but my LCD TV introduces too much lag in the upscaling process (480i->720p), so what is on screen doesn't match to the controls. I figured this being an older projector with a native 640x480 resolution that accepts 480i input, it would be lag free, and I was correct. Some people complained about the brightness on this, and I certainly wouldn't want to use it for an office presentation, but I think it will be fine for video and games in my home with the shades down. Fine print is tough to read, and the brightness really suffers if you make the screen size too large, but you can't expect perfection from a micro-projector. It isn't going to out-perform a standard size projector, but I think it will perform well for my old XBox and PS2 that can't output native HD resolutions to my HD TV.

A small 15 minutes test seems to confirm that; Guitar Hero 1 had no lag, key presses/strums match up on screen. Cons: 480p on the composite input would have been nice, but I'm not sure if you can do 480p on composite. -1 star for low brightness and a proprietary VGA cable/composite port. Seriously, if it was a quarter of an inch bigger, they could have used a regular VGA port and regular composite input.

Other Thoughts: Good for games & video. A little speaker would have been nice, but I won't deduct stars since it is so compact as is. VGA cable is very rigid, which may make it difficult to position the projector w/o a tripod, but I'm using composite anyway, so it doesn't affect me. I'm sure the newer version of this projector is better, but not for my needs. A higher res projector might introduce lag and affect the gaming. Pros: This pico projector is awesome!
